Verde Processing Pharmaceutical Facility, Concord, New HVAC and BAS, 2020
Verde Processing Facility was designed as pharmaceutical complex with several over-sized clean rooms, lab areas, offices and associated production areas. This project was carried out in two parts: Offices & Lab Areas and Processing Area. In the Offices & Lab Areas, Comfort Care Inc. was responsible for the demolition of 4 rooftop units (RTUs) and the supply and installation of new RTUs, along with the installation of ductwork, terminal units (including VAV boxes), air conditioning units, forced flow heaters, hot water heaters, and other related systems. In the Processing Area, we installed and started up 12 customized rooftop units. Our scope also included the supply and installation of all associated supply and return ductwork, including fan filters, diffusers, and grills. We handled the supply and installation of gas piping throughout the project, as well as all rough-in control wiring and installation of control thermostats and remote-control panels. Additionally, we coordinated Test and Air Balance (TAB) work, performed by a qualified independent company, including the final report.
In this project, our scope included the installation of 12 customized rooftop units (RTUs), complete ductwork systems, and full BAS integration.
This project required precise start-up as well as complex coordination of mechanical, electrical, and control systems. It reflects our commitment to deliver technically demanding HVAC solutions across diverse sectors.
